About Comus

"Boostrap code, the boostrap way".

"Comus is the Greek god of festivity, revelry, and nocturnal revels, known for representing excess and merrymaking."

Comus Co-Founders Edwin Schofield and Alex Clarke at Godalming Fireworks 2026

Comus was first conceived in 2024 during a squash game between co-founders Edwin Schofield and Alex Clarke, who were frustrated by the clunky, disconnected, and overpriced systems their event industry clients were forced to use.

Both had long worked with venues and organisers, and they saw a clear need for software that was genuinely simple, highly customisable, and affordably priced. That game of squash turned into a six-month deep dive into what “good” really looks like for event software—how it should work, what it should include, and how it could make running events easier.

After months of development alongside their other businesses, Comus finally launched on April 1st, 2025.

Make running events easier

Comus isn’t just software—it’s software with support at its heart. From the beginning, Edwin and Alex knew that even the best tools fall short without the right help behind them. That’s why Comus is designed not only to be easy to use and endlessly customisable, but also backed by real people who understand events.

Whether it’s setting up ticketing, tweaking your POS layout, or running marketing campaigns, Comus gives users access to expert support that feels more like a partner than a service desk. The goal isn’t just to provide software—it’s to make running events easier, every step of the way.

Comus helps you focus on what really matters — delivering an unforgettable event.
